OTTAWA, Kan.- Former Ottawa University receiver and kick returner, Joshua Stanby,  has signed a contract with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. He has signed a 3 year, $1,575,000 contract with the Atlanta Falcons, including an average annual salary of $525,000 (www.spotrac.com).

Stangby earned All-KCAC honors for the second straight season after posting 52 receptions for 958 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2014. He averaged 18.4 yards per reception and 87.1 receiving yards per game last season. Stangby is a native of North Hollywood, California and previously attended Los Angeles Valley College. At his pro day, he measured in at 5’10” and 180 pounds, running a 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and leaping 40.5 inches in the vertical jump.
