Keshaun Malone tabbed as undrafted rookie free agent by the St. Louis Rams

MUSKOGEE, Okla. – The St. Louis Rams of the National Football League formally announced the signing of former Warrior Keshaun Malone to an undrafted rookie free agent contract.

Malone becomes the second player from Bacone College to sing with an NFL team since joining the NAIA in 2001 – Deantre Harlan signed as undrafted rookie free agent in May 2014.

The senior linebacker led the Warriors with 135 total tackles in 2014 and tacked on one sack and five interceptions; for his efforts he was named the Central States Football League Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-Conference.

“Keshaun (Malone) was the anchor of our defense last year and it showed,” linebackers coach Robert Daniels said. “I’m very proud of him, he’s a good kid and I think he’s going to turn some heads.”

For his career Malone finished with 184 tackles, three sacks and seven interceptions.
